GSA is affiliated with Georgia Youth Soccer and US Youth Soccer. We have programs for both recreational and select players. GSA has programs for players from age 3 through age 18.
Birth Certificates: When you register at GSA for the first time, you will need to provide a copy of the player's birth certificate. You can bring the birth certificate to walk-up registration or fax it to GSA at 888-724-6516.
Uniform Package:
U5-U8 Recreational Players
For the U5 through U8 age groups, these age groups purchase a new uniform every fall season. If you played in the fall season and are a returning player in the spring, you do not need to purchase a uniform for the spring season. If you did not play in the fall, please make sure you specify that you need a uniform as part of your spring registration. The uniform package that will consist of a jersey with the GSA logo, black shorts and black socks. These uniform packages will be good for a calendar year that will run from the fall season through the end of the spring season.
U10-U19 Recreational Players
For the U10 and up age groups, we have implemented an upgraded uniform package. The uniform package for these age groups will consist of 1 red jersey (home), 1 white jersey (away), a pair of black shorts and a pair of black socks. These uniforms will be good for multiple years. This will give our recreational teams that are inter-league schedules with other associations the ability to have a home and away uniform similar to the select teams. It also eliminates the need to purchase a uniform every year if the uniform still fits the player.
Playing Up: Players with an August birth date may play up one age group if requested on their registration form by their parent/guardian. No additional approval is required. If a player demonstrates exception skill in their own age group, they may apply to play up one age group. A written request must be submitted by the parent/guardian along with the registration form. Each request is subject to approval by the association.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Recreational Players: GSA encourages players to register early to guarantee them a spot on the upcoming season. If a player requests to withdraw their registration anytime between registration and team assignment, GSA will refund all of the registration fee and uniform fee except a $25 processing fee. If you register late and are assessed a late charge, the late charge is only refundable in the event GSA cannot place the player on a team. Once assigned, the late charge portion is non-refundable. Any donations that are collected during registration are not refundable.
There will be no refunds after the start of the season (first Saturday in September for fall season, first Saturday in March for spring season) and all refunds require the approval of the GSA President. Please note that all requests for refunds must be submitted to GSA in writing either by mailing GSA at P.O. Box 210, Lilburn, GA 30048 or emailing the GSA President.
Equipment: In addition to the uniform provided through GSA, each player should have the equipment that is listed below.
Schedule: Team formation will occur approximately 3 weeks before the start of the season. Players who registered online will be notified via email as soon as their team assignment is complete. If we do not have your email address on file, you will be notified by the coach or team manager of the team you are assigned to. GSA offers 2 seasons per year, a Fall Season and a Spring Season.

If you are registering a player at GSA for the first time, a copy of your child's birth certificate is required along with your registration form. Hospital, baptismal or other religious certificates are not acceptable. If you are having a problem getting a copy of your child's official birth certificate, go ahead and send in your registration form now and make sure you provide us a copy of the birth certificate prior to the first game.
