WINTER FUTSAL
Futsal is a fun, fast-paced and exciting small-side soccer game. Played on a small indoor court it develops technical skill and ability as players get hundreds of touches on the ball each game. GSA is proud to offer this unique experience to our players.

WINTER 2026 FUTSAL INFORMATION
Who:
The GSA Winter Futsal League is open to all teams regardless of club affiliation. We welcome recreational and competitive teams from anywhere as long as you meet the team roster min/max requirements and have a coach! As Futsal continues to grow, we hope this provides structure for Futsal teams across Metro Atlanta to play one of the fastest growing indoor sports in our country!

When:
Monday's - Thursday starting at 5:30pm and latest kick off is 8:30pm.
Games will also be scheduled on Saturdays and/or Sundays

*Teams may be moved up age groups to meet competitive balance needs; if you believe your team should play in an older age group, please notify george@gsasoccer.com for consideration.
Cost:
Rec $95 | Comp $105 per player
- Early bird discount: $10 off/player if registered by October 14th, 2026
- Coaches who register to coach for either Competitive or Rec, will receive 100% reimbursement of registration costs.
Roster Size:
(5v5) Min of 6 players; Max of 10
(4v4) full court with no GKs and small goals
(3v3) Min of 5 players; Max of 6
Length of Games:
5v5: 2 x 24 min. halves & 4 min. halftime
3v3: 2 x 20 min. halves & 5 min. halftime
Season:
7-8 games depending on division size
Registration:
Competitive teams wanting to play together must have a volunteer coach prior to registering.
Competitive players only may register as free agents. If there are enough individual players interested to form a team, one will be created. The team will need a volunteer coach to be able to be formed. If not enough individuals are registered to form a team, they will be entered into rec leagues.
All rec players will be assigned a team after registration closes.
Once you have your team and coach, please have the coach email the roster to (george@gsasoccer.com) and have each player register in their PlayMetrics account (make sure you list the team or coaches name in the registration form). Registration closes on November 20th, 2026 or when all divisions have been filled.
Coaches who register to coach for either Comp or Rec, will receive 100% reimbursement of registration costs
Rec teams want to enter a full team all players must register and coach should email George (george@gsasoccer.com) the full names of all players on the roster.

Are there practices?
No, this is league play only.
Who will coach the teams?
We will require parent volunteers to help manage the teams, mainly assisting with team organization and subs to ensure fair playing time. If you are interested in being a coach please add that to your registration or email george@gsasoccer.com
How are teams formed?
Please form your roster of 7-10 players and a volunteer coach before registering. Please add your "team name / coaches name" with your registration. Click the link below for instructions to create a team.
What about uniforms?
Players will be required to wear shin guards and indoor shoes (no cleats). Uniforms will not be provided. Teams are encouraged to have both a light and dark jersey; jerseys must have unique numbers attached to the back. Home teams will wear light colored jerseys, and away teams will wear dark colored jerseys. In the event of conflicting colors, the home team may be asked to wear a training vest to help distinguish between the two teams. You are welcome to use your Futsal or Soccer clubs uniform for this league.
